Pirates 5, Cardinals 4 (11): At Pittsburgh, pinch-hitter Jose Castillo singled home the winning run with two outs in the 11th inning, giving the Pirates a win over St. Louis.

Mets 12, Brewers 4: At Milwaukee, Damion Easley hit the first inside-the-park homer at Miller Park in five years and the Brewers beat New York.

Phillies 10, Cubs 6: At Chicago, Pat Burrell homered and Jayson Werth drove in four runs as Philadelphia had 16 hits and beat Chicago.

Padres 11, Diamondbacks 0: At San Diego, Jake Peavy struck out 10 to pass 1,000 for his career and the Padres blanked Arizona.

Rockies 4, Marlins 3: At Miami, Matt Holliday doubled home the tying run in the eighth and scored on Garrett Atkins’ sacrifice fly, helping Colorado beat Florida.

Nationals 7, Reds 3: At Washington, Ryan Zimmerman had three hits and drove in three runs to lead the Nationals to a win over Cincinnati. The win gave Washington the series sweep.

Astros 12, Braves 11 (14): At Atlanta, pitcher Jason Jennings came through with a pinch-hit, two-out RBI single in the 14th to give Houston a win over the Braves.

Giants 4, Dodgers 2: At Los Angeles, Pedro Feliz had two hits and drove in two runs to lead San Francisco to a win over Los Angeles. Barry Bonds went 1 for 2 and walked twice.
