Don’t respect these guys

RE: M’s trio deserves respect (Letters, July 29).

The facts are:

•Richie Sexson is a .199 occasional powerless hitter, one chance in five when a fastball is thrown, not necessarily for a strike.

Has he ever hit a change or a curve? No.

•Yuni Betancourt, a good player before signing a big contract, became fat and lazy after.

•Dave Niehaus, alias “Shaky,” should be led out to pasture like an old horse, used for stud service or dog food, whatever.

By the way, take “Greasy,” the Mariners’ radio guy (Rick Rizz), along with him.
