Padres 10, Reds 4: At Cincinnati, Brian Giles hit two home runs as San Diego routed the Reds. Khalil Greene had four hits and a career-high three doubles for the Padres.

Cardinals 12, Dodgers 2: At St. Louis, Ryan Ludwick homered and drove in four runs, helping the Cardinals beat Los Angeles. Anthony Reyes worked six innings and got his first career hit and RBI during a five-run third for St. Louis.

Mets 10, Marlins 4: At New York, Moises Alou homered twice and drove in four runs, helping the Mets beat Florida. Jose Reyes and Carlos Delgado also connected for New York. Jorge Sosa pitched two scoreless innings for the win.

Pirates 5, Giants 0: At San Francisco, Tom Gorzelanny allowed five hits in his first career shutout and Pittsburgh earned a victory over the Giants. Josh Phelps hit a two-run homer and a two-run triple for the Pirates.

Astros 6, Brewers 4: At Houston, Craig Biggio homered and Lance Berkman hit a tiebreaking shot leading off the eighth inning to start a four-run rally that sent Houston to a victory over Milwaukee.

Rockies 6, Cubs 3: At Denver, Troy Tulowitzki homered and also hit a go-ahead two-run double against Kerry Wood in the sixth to lead Colorado over Chicago. Wood allowed three runs and two hits and two walks in one inning.

Nationals 7, Arizona 6: At Phoenix, Jesus Flores hit a tying homer in the ninth and Felipe Lopez drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly as Washington rallied from a five-run deficit to beat Arizona.

Phillies 5, Braves 3: At Philadelphia, Ryan Howard hit a three-run homer, leading the Phillies over Atlanta. Jamie Moyer allowed three runs and seven hits in 6 1/3 innings to win his fourth straight decision.
