Arthur and Esmee Rice celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception at Riverview Terrace on Aug. 11.

Hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Kenneth and Janet Rice, and Vicki Rice, all of Spokane; Bruce and Monica Rice, Carlisle, Pa.; and Bonnie Rice and Howard Heard, Burbank, Calif.

The couple were married Aug. 30, 1947, in Tacoma. They have four grandchildren.
