Harley and Lorraine Halverson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Cannon Beach, Ore.

Hosts for the event will include their children and spouses: Lynn and Jeff Gibson, Cheryl and Hap Gotzian, all of Spokane; Shaun and Scott McClenahan, San Francisco; and Eric and Maria Halverson, Madrid, Spain.

The couple were married Aug. 25, 1957, in Portland. They have eight grandchildren.
