Jim and Christine Easling celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a barbecue on the Pend Oreille River on July 7.

Hosts for the event included their daughter and son-in-law Stacey and Eric Jenkin, and friends Steve Black and Bev Conoly, all of Spokane Valley.

Their other daughter is Heather Raynor, Spokane Valley.

The couple were married April 21, 1967, in Spokane. They have five grandchildren.
