B&N won’t be carrying O.J. book

Associated Press The Spokesman-Review

If you’re planning to buy a copy of O.J. Simpson’s “If I Did It,” don’t expect to find it at Barnes & Noble.

Citing a perceived lack of customer interest, the chain says the book – a ghostwritten, fictionalized account of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman – will be available only by special order or online.

ReganBooks was scheduled to publish “If I Did It” last fall but backed off following widespread outrage. Goldman’s family was awarded the rights as part of a civil verdict that found Simpson responsible for the deaths and recently reached a publishing deal.
