Area Roundup: Westerberg-led All-Stars defeat NIC
Emily Westerberg (Central Valley/Arizona State) scored a game-high 20 points on 10-of-14 shooting and pulled down 12 rebounds Tuesday to lead the North Idaho All-Stars to a 55-49 win over the North Idaho College women’s basketball team in Coeur d’Alene.
Lyndsey Herbert added 13 points and seven rebounds for the All-Stars, who built a 33-23 lead at halftime.
The All-Stars made 16 of 24 field-goal attempts in the first half while the Cardinals (7-3) were 8 of 33. The All-Stars also held a 47-30 rebound advantage.
Cassie Pilkinton had 17 points, Danika Lawson added 12 points and seven rebounds and Lindsey Stark nine points for the Cardinals, who made 7 of 24 shots from beyond the arc.

Katelan Redmon (Lewis and Clark High) had 17 points for the Huskies (4-5), who had won three consecutive games under first-year coach Tia Jackson.
