Jared Karstetter scored a game-high 26 points and Jeff Minnerly added 18 as Ferris built a big halftime lead and cruised to a 75-54 Greater Spokane League win over Mead Saturday at Ferris.

The Saxons (4-0), who led 43-29 at the half, were outstanding from the free-throw line, converting 21 of their 29 attempts. The Panthers were 6 of 9 from the line.

Brendan Ingebritsen scored 14 points, including 11 in the first half, to guide Mead (1-2).

Ferris will host Shadle Park (3-0) Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. in a battle of the only remaining unbeaten teams in the GSL.
