Bulldogs slip
In the past, when GU played WSU in whatever sport, the Zags prided themselves with a take-no-prisoners attitude, and that unless WSU was using magic we would prevail.
We were proud of the fact we did more with less and the sheer desire of a good fight would more than often carry us through. Our uniforms may not have been as nice, nor the transportation as fancy, but when we came to play, we came to win.
I hope GU is not falling into the abyss of mediocrity and joining those universities whose emphasis has gone from winning to, “That’s OK, let’s get in our luxury plane and go home.”
After all, it was Mark Few who gave us the revival of GU dominance. Let him not now forget “what brung him to the dance.”
