Clippers pick up ex-Zag Frahm
A Gonzaga backcourt in the NBA?
It’s possible now that the Los Angeles Clippers signed former Zag Richie Frahm to a non-guaranteed contract, replacing Ruben Patterson, who was waived.
Frahm, who was cut by the Phoenix Suns before the season, joins another former Zag, Dan Dickau, on the Clippers’ roster.
Dickau, who was traded to the Clippers at the start of the season, has lately been playing more and scored 16 points in 108-103 loss to Charlotte on Wednesday night.
Frahm, 30, played at Gonzaga from 1997 through 2000.
Dickau started at Gonzaga in 2001 and 2002.
