Eagle Viewing in Coeur d’Alene – Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 23, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive. Idaho State Parks presents its annual viewing to watch the migrating bald eagles as they fly south for the winter. There will be park rangers to answer questions, along with covered areas and spotting scopes to view them up close. Hot coffee and cocoa will also be served. Local photographer Tom Michalski will have photos he has taken of eagles in the local area on display. 699-2224.

Coeur d’Alene Tribal Storytelling and Songs – Wednesday, 6-8 a.m., North Idaho College, Todd Hall, Molstead Library, The Coeur d’Alene Tribal Fisheries program and University of Idaho Extension will present a special evening with traditional story tellers Mariane Nomee and Cliff SiJohn. Drum group Rose Creek also will be presenting a different form of story-telling, the forty-niner song.
