Some cheese for fans’ whine

The Spokesman-Review

Good grief, Zags fans. Get a grip!

I would be happy to donate a tin or two of Cougar Gold to go with all of the whining heard around Spokane (last) week.

Remember, you have the best midmajor (men’s college basketball) program in the entire country. A couple of losses to the Cougs and a game on ESPNU breeds this much discontent? Get over it and continue to give all your support to the Zags. Otherwise, they may end up being the second-best team in Washington on a permanent basis.

On the other hand, there is still plenty of room on the Cougars bandwagon and season tickets are still available at Friel Court. Plus, you get to see four or five Top 25 opponents live and in person every year.
