Charlie and Ruth Ryan will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at their home today.

Hosts for the event will include their children and spouses: Beverly and Rick Triber, Spokane Valley; Joe and Carolyn Ryan, Spokane; and Terrie Hambrook, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.

The couple were married Dec. 22, 1937, in Polson, Mont. They have 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
