Katie Baker scored 27 points and had a school-record 22 rebounds Thursday while leading Lake City to a 59-42 win over visiting Bellevue in a non-league girls game.

Baker added four blocked shots for the Timberwolves (9-3).

In another non-leaguer, Kenzie Graber scored 14 points and Davenport (3-4) used a 13-0 first quarter to defeat Sprague-Harrington 44-34 at Harrington. Despite shooting 0 for 9 in the first quarter, the Falcons (1-7) trailed by four with 2 minutes left.

“Katelyn Loper finished with 19 points and six steals as Post Falls (7-2) defeated Foothills 60-43 to open the Lady Wolves tournament at Las Vegas. The Trojans shot 19 of 24 from the line.

“Prairie defeated Coeur d’Alene 55-47 at the Gillette (Wyo.) tournament. Amy Warbrick scored 13 points for the Vikings (10-1).

“Carley Heinen totaled 15 points, seven rebounds and six steals as the host Scotties (9-0) stormed past Liberty 59-11 at the Freeman tournament. The Lancers (4-5) shot 3 of 26 from the field. Freeman will meet Tonasket at 6 tonight for the title. Liberty will play Bonners Ferry at 2 p.m. in the consolation.

Boys

Jake Heinen and Marc Soelberg combined for 38 points and the host Scotties (4-4) shot 51 percent from the floor in defeating Liberty 76-33 in the first day of the Freeman tournament. The Scotties will play Bonners Ferry in tonight’s championship game at 7:30. The Lancers (4-5) will meet Tonasket at 4 p.m. in the consolation game. … Casey Langford scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half to lift Bonners Ferry (6-5) to a 75-68 win over Tonasket in the opening game of the tournament. Grant Leavell of the Tigers shot 13 of 17 from the floor.

“The host Camels defeated Coeur d’Alene 84-63 at the Gillette (Wyo.) tournament. Andrew Prohaska scored 27 points for the Vikings (6-1), who played without two suspended starters.

Andrew Cooper scored 16 points in Davenport’s (4-3) 58-30 non-league win over Sprague-Harrington (2-6) at Harrington.
