Age: 70

Hometown: I was born on a farm in Millett County, S.D., but moved to Mullan when I was 11. I’ve lived in Coeur d’Alene for 16 1/2 years.

Occupation: I’m retired, but I was a secretary/bookkeeper for a number of firms and organizations.

Family: My husband died in 1983. I have three daughters, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Hobbies: Needle work, reading, listening to music and playing computer games.

What do you like about North Idaho? It’s beautiful country.

Favorite music: Easy listening and Christian music, and I’m a big fan of Yanni.

Favorite TV show: I like “Cops,” “CSI,” “NCIS,” and “Antiques Road Show.”

Favorite movie: “The Sound of Music”

Favorite spot in North Idaho? Why? I love all of North Idaho, and especially Lake Coeur d’Alene. It’s just beautiful.
