People: Better skip the nanny, though

From Wire Reports The Spokesman-Review

Sienna Miller, who drew some flak last fall for a Rolling Stone article quoting her as calling monogamy “an overrated virtue,” now says she can’t wait to be a mom.

When you have a baby, the 25-year-old actress says, “In a world where you’re encouraged to have your universe revolve around yourself, suddenly it doesn’t.

“I know I want that because I have way too much love to give. If I have a child, it can all go there. Life, I think, will suddenly make sense.”

Miller’s on-and-off relationship with ex-fiance Jude Law made her an overnight celebrity.

She reportedly broke off their engagement in 2005 after he publicly apologized for cheating on her with the nanny of his three children.

By the way, Miller is denying reports she had actual onscreen sex with co-star Hayden Christensen for her new film, “Factory Girl,” in which she plays party girl and Andy Warhol muse Edie Sedgwick.

Her publicist says she’s “just a great actress.”

Spice, spice, baby

Elsewhere on the celebrity procreation front:

“The wife of Patrick Dempsey, aka “Dr. McDreamy” from “Grey’s Anatomy,” has given birth to twin boys. He and Jillian Dempsey also have a 5-year-old daughter, Talula.

“Former “Saturday Night Live” player Kevin Nealon has welcomed his first child with his wife, actress Susan Yeagley.

Emma Bunton – better known as Baby Spice of the Spice Girls – is expecting this summer with her main squeeze of eight years, former boy-bander Jade Jones of Damage.

Updated girl

Billy Joel, who famously won over supermodel Christie Brinkley in the early ‘80s with his song “Uptown Girl,” is releasing his first pop tune in 14 years – “All My Life,” an ode to wife Katie Lee Joel.

Katie, a food writer, hosted the first season of the reality show “Top Chef.” The song will be available on iTunes starting Feb. 20.

Feathers are flying

Hot on the heels of the announcement that The Police are reuniting for a Grammys appearance (and possible tour) comes word that the Eagles are making a comeback.

Don Henley says the band is nearing completion on an album of all-new material.

“It’s coming out in 60 to 90 days, if we don’t kill each other first,” he says.

Courtney on ‘Idol’? False

“American Idol” execs are busy defusing claims by Courtney Love that she was asked to join the reality singing competition as a judge – possibly replacing the increasingly erratic-behaving Paula Abdul.

In a statement, executive producer Nigel Lythgoe said: “I did not call Courtney Love, and am afraid someone may have misrepresented me. Courtney Love is a very talented artist, but the judges for ‘American Idol’ are Paula, Randy (Jackson) and Simon (Cowell). We have no plans to add to or replace any of them.”
