NEW FACES Dave Moss has been hired as the project manager for Spokane County’s water reclamation program. He previously worked as the Spokane office manager for Tetra Tech/KCM for six years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Seattle University and a master’s degree in civil and water resources from the University of Washington.

David Koffel has been hired as a real estate loan office at the Global Credit Union Home Loan Center.

Avista Corp. has hired Michael Andrea as a staff attorney. Andrea is a Navy veteran and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Idaho and a degree from the University of Oregon School of Law.

Gary Marks has been hired as a loan officer at American Home Mortgage.

Dr. Stephen Winikoff has been hired by Cancer Care Northwest as a surgical oncologist. He received his medical degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and also trained at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the Hillman Cancer Center.

Tiffany Capiral has been hired as a loan coordinator at Kiemle and Hagood Company’s Community Building Division. She previously worked as a relationship specialist for HAPO Community Credit Union in Richland.

Kay Zovanyi has been hired as a project architect at Madsen Mitchell Evenson and Conrad. She has more than 20 years experience as an architect in Spokane, Seattle, and Kauai.

Rockwood Clinic has hired Jennifer Jones as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in endocrinology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s degree in nursing from the Washington State University Intercollegiate College of Nursing in Spokane.

Brynn Martin and Dean McIntosh have been hired as real estate agents at the Liberty Lake office of Century 21 Beutler and Associates.

PROMOTIONS Christopher Varallo has been promoted to principal at Witherspoon, Kelley, Davenport and Toole. He holds a degree from the Gonzaga University School of Law. His practice focuses on banking, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and real property.

Peggy Sowers has been promoted to senior manager of business development at HollisterStier Laboratories. She has been with the company since 1978. Most recently she was the manager of business development.

Kathy Howland has been promoted to manager of Moloney O’Neill’s select business unit. She has been with the company for nearly 17 years.

Terry Cope has been promoted to assistant vice president at Sterling Savings Bank. He has been with the company since 2004. He holds a master of business administration from Oregon State University.

Cajer Neely has been promoted to senior vice president/manager at Banner Bank’s Spokane Commercial Banking Center. Neely has 25 years of commercial banking experience and has been with Banner Bank since 2002.

APPOINTED Former Kootenai County Commissioner Katie Brodie has been appointed to the Inland Northwest Bank board of directors.

ELECTED Lynn St. Louis has been elected president of the Washington Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys for 2007. St. Louis recently opened the Law Offices of Lynn St. Louis in Spokane over practicing elder law in Seattle for more than 20 years.

KUDOS David Dillard of RE/MAX Real Estate Professionals in Post Falls recently became an e-PRO certified agent through the National Association of Realtors.

Steve George of Precision H2O has received his building operator certification, level one, from the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council.

Sally Olson has accepted a limited partnership offering in The Jones Financial Companies, the holding company for Edward Jones. She is the branch office administrator of the Post Falls Edward Jones office and has been with the company since 2001.

Cher Desautel, chief executive office and president of Desautel Hege Communications, has received the Degerness Award for Excellence in Public Relations from the Greater Spokane Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
