Ferris reached the century mark in scoring and with it completed a perfect regular season.

The Saxons, playing on the road Thursday, routed University 100-53 to finish with a 20-0 Greater Spokane League basketball record.

The last boys team to finish unbeaten in league was 2003 state runner-up Mead, which went 19-0 when the GSL was split into divisions. Ferris in 1987 and Shadle Park in 1981 both went 16-0.

Ferris scored 61 second-half points, finishing off the win with a 33-8 fourth quarter.

Ten different players scored for the Saxons, who had the game well in hand after a quarter, leading 27-9.
