Zags never disappoint

The Spokesman-Review

I’m thinking about a place for a fair-weather fan or not. In the case of the Seattle Mariners, I think I’m perfectly justified in being only a fair-weather fan, since their entire program is about nothing but money.

As far as the Zags, they will have my support through any and all kinds of weather because they are managed by a top-notch bunch of coaches who are doing their best. Sure, the LMU loss is a large disappointment, but Gonzaga is subject to seemingly unreasonable defeats just as any other team. It’s called life. It’s called college basketball. And it’s still one part of Americana that isn’t encumbered by all kinds of societal ills. Go Zags. We love you.
