NMSU beats Hawaii

HONOLULU – Martin Iti scored 15 points and teammate Shaun Davis added 14 as New Mexico State held on to beat Hawaii 71-68 Monday night.

After trailing 61-60 with 3:30 left in the game, the Aggies took the lead on Justin Hawkins’ putback and led the rest of the way. Hawkins finished with 11 points.

The Rainbow Warriors led by as many as 10 points in the first half.
