Amanda Smith scored 13 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as Cusick beat Northport 45-39 Tuesday in a District 7 1B tournament game in Riverside.

The Panthers (10-13) outscored the Mustangs (4-17) 29-18 in the second half to erase a five-point halftime deficit.

Kaprina Goodwin tallied a game-high 21 points for the Mustangs, who are finished for the season.

In other tournament action, Brianna Martin scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Almira/Coulee-Hartline (6-16) slid past visiting Odessa (1-21) 29-26 in Riverside. Niki Porterfield added seven points and nine boards for the Warriors, who advance to play Cusick at 1 p.m. Saturday in Deer Park in a loser-out, winner-to-state contest. The Tigers’ season has concluded.

•Alyssa FitzGerald scored a team-high 14 points, leading St. John-Endicott (11-12) past Liberty Christian (13-9) 53-40 in a District 9 1B tournament game at Walla Walla Community College. Rachel Roberts tallied a game-high 28 points for the Patriots. … Rochelle Druffel scored a game-high 18 points as Colton (19-4) routed Tri-Cities Prep (6-16) 79-36 at DeSales High. The Wildcats advance to play St. John-Endicott at 8 p.m. Thursday at Colfax Elementary.
