Marshall Hurst, manager at J.C. Penney, reported Thursday the $1,577 theft of cash from the business at 200 W. Hanley Ave.

Jonathan Sheldon reported Monday the $510 theft of goods and services when charges were made to a Verizon account that was fraudulently obtained when someone used his personal information.

Jarrett Moore reported Thursday the $1,200 theft of a 1980 Ford Bronco from property on the 1900 block of Appleway.

Ronald Inauen reported Thursday the $400 theft of a steel-barrel wood-burning stove from a home on the 1700 block of North Ninth Street.

Keith Peila reported Friday $500 damage to two windows of a home on the 1500 block of East Maple Avenue.

Kootenai County sheriff

Jack Judd, employee of Big Sky Development, reported Monday $700 damage to the windows of a 1998 Hitachi excavator and the $150 theft of tools from a construction site at Hunters Grove Court and Diagonal Road near Rathdrum.
