Beribak, Hawks prove too much for Sasquatch

Admir Beribak recorded a double-double with a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds Saturday, leading Columbia Basin past Community Colleges of Spokane 80-78 in Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges play at Pasco.

Riley Sivak also registered a double-double for the Hawks (21-5, 9-4), scoring 16 and grabbing 12 boards.

Eric Beal (North Central) paced the Sasquatch (12-16, 5-8) with a team-high 19 points, five assists and three rebounds.

Jon Clift (Ferris) contributed 14 points, and Bo and Jordan Gregg chipped in 11 apiece for CC Spokane, which led 43-41 at the half.

•Nick Livi paced North Idaho with 30 points in a 96-69 Scenic West Athletic Conference rout of Colorado Northwestern in Coeur d’Alene.

Shawn Henderson chipped in with 16 points, and Scott Stockwell poured in 10 with 10 rebounds for the Cardinals (15-11, 7-9), who won the battle of the boards 51-31.

Jordan Pratt led the Spartans (6-19, 0-16) with 18 points.
