Teeth whitening will aid Spokane Guilds’ School

Now through March 31, have your teeth whitened for $99 and brighten your smile for children and the Spokane Guilds’ School.

Local dentists are donating their time to the Smiles Program fundraiser. Proceeds will benefit children attending the School.

IHOP day

From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, International House of Pancakes celebrates the second annual National Pancake Day.

Visit any of the three participating Spokane and Spokane Valley locations – 4209 N. Division St., 5403 E. Sprague Ave. and 14706 E. Indiana Ave. – and enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes.

Donations for National Pancake Day will be made to Young Life, a nondenominational Christian ministry reaching out to adolescents.

Darfur benefit concert

Musicians from Lewis and Clark High School and Spokane Public Schools’ All City Jazz Band are presenting a young musicians benefit concert Tuesday, at CenterStage, 1017 W. First Ave.

The concert, featuring jazz and classical performances, will begin at 7:30 p.m., and a suggested ticket donation is $5 to $10.

Proceeds will benefit the Save Darfur campaign, creating awareness, sending aid to people in camps and working to establish a “no fly” zone in Darfur.

Potters Guild chili feed

On Saturday, the Spokane Potters Guild is holding its annual chili feed.

The event will be at the Corbin Senior Activity Center, 827 W. Cleveland Ave., from noon to 5:30 p.m.

For $12, enjoy a large bowl of chili, corn bread, drinks, dessert, and a bowl of your choice. The hand-crafted bowl is yours to keep.

Proceeds will benefit the Spokane Potters Guild.
