Conference-leading Santa Clara, which has won six straight, takes to the road needing to win only one of its two remaining regular-season games against Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine to clinch at least a share of the WCC title and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, which starts March 2 in Portland’s Chiles Center. … Gonzaga senior guard Derek Raivio continues to lead the WCC in scoring with an average of 18.4 points per game. Loyola Marymount senior forward Matthew Knight is second at 16.9. … Raivio, who leads the nation in free-throw percentage (95.8) has made 115 of 120 foul shots this season and hasn’t missed more than one in a game since last year’s NCAA tournament. … Gonzaga has played 10 non-conference games against opponents who have been ranked among the top 25 in the country – the most of any team in the nation.
