Terry Martin scored 18 points and Garrett Temple added 17 to help struggling LSU upset No. 3 Florida 66-56 Saturday in Baton Rouge, La.
Tasmin Mitchell scored 11 for LSU (15-13, 4-10 SEC)
Florida (25-4, 12-2), which had already wrapped up the SEC regular-season title and had set a school record for single-season victories, had little riding on the game and played like it.
Normally a 42 percent shooting team from 3-point range, the Gators were 2 of 17 (11.8 percent). They were 4 of 12 on free throws and fell 24 points short of their 80.3 season average for points.
With about 5 minutes remaining the Tigers led 53-35.
(6) Kansas 89, Iowa St. 52: At Lawrence, Kan., Mario Chalmers scored 18 points to lead Kansas players in double figures and the Jayhawks (25-4, 12-2 Big 12) routed the Cyclones (14-14, 5-9).
Iowa State made only 5 of 28 shots while falling behind 41-15 at halftime.
The Cyclones wound up 18 for 55 (33 percent), failing to shoot better than 40 percent for the 14th time in league games.

(12) Georgetown 61, (10) Pittsburgh 53: At Washington, the biggest Big East game of the regular season went to the Hoyas (22-5, 12-2), whose tenacious defense made the difference in the final minutes of a victory over the Panthers (24-5, 11-3).

The Bulldogs, who missed a chance for the outright title with a loss to Loyola of Chicago on Thursday night, tied Wright State for the regular-season crown and will be the second seed in next week’s conference tournament because of a tiebreaker.
A.J. Graves and Mike Green added 13 points each for Butler.
Notre Dame 85, (16) Marquette 73: At South Bend, Ind., Luke Harangody scored 22 points and Tory Jackson added 21 – both career highs – to lead the Irish (22-6, 10-5 Big East) over the Golden Eagles (22-8, 9-6).
The Irish trailed by as many as 13 points midway through the first half, but used an 11-0 run late to take a 42-36 halftime lead. Marquette cut the lead to 42-40 early in the first half, but Colin Falls hit a 3-pointer and scored on a rebound to extend the lead to seven points.
