1:30 p.m. Thursday, Council Chambers, City Hall, approval of contract for fifth phase of reconstruction of Moore-Turner Heritage Garden.

Spokane Valley City Council

6 p.m., Tuesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave., regular meeting includes a public hearing on the extension of one-acre zoning in the Ponderosa neighborhood.

Spokane County commission

1:30 p.m. Monday, commissioners’ briefing room, Spokane County Courthouse. Commissioners will discuss the county’s plan to provide infrastructure to growing areas.

9:30 a.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. Agenda includes discussions about an ordinance regulating pawnbrokers, the county’s proposed wastewater treatment plant, the recent residential building moratorium on the West Plains and the county’s West Plains railroad line.

2 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building.

9:15 a.m. Wednesday, room 1A, Public Works Building. Commissioners will hold strategic planning meeting.

5 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building. Commissioners will consider proposal by American Behavioral Health Systems to build a new drug and alcohol treatment center.

Spokane County Planning Commission

9 a.m. Thursday, Room 2B, Public Works Building. The commission will be briefed about proposed changes to the county’s airport overlay zone.
