Wolf Pack gets win; Fazekas injured
Playing the second half without the injured Nick Fazekas, Marcelus Kemp scored 27 points and No. 19 Nevada (14-1, 2-0 Western Athletic Conference) went on a 9-0 run down the stretch to rally for a 90-86 victory over Boise State (7-6, 1-1) on Monday night.
Fazekas had 14 points and nine rebounds before being helped off the court with an ankle injury just before the half. He returned to the bench on crutches with about 7 minutes left in the game. A school official said his condition was not immediately known.

(2) North Carolina 96, Virginia 62: At Chapel Hill, N.C., Erlana Larkins and Camille Little scored 17 points apiece to lead the Tar Heels (18-0, 3-0 ACC) over the Cavaliers (10-5, 0-1 ACC).
Lyndra Littles had 19 for Virginia.
(10) Stanford 69, South Carolina 54: At Stanford, Calif., Brooke Smith made her first six field goal attempts on the way to a season-high 28 points, leading the Cardinal (12-3) over the Gamecocks (10-2).
Candice Wiggins had 15 points for Stanford.
