Auditions

“The Cover of Life” – Spokane Civic Theatre, 1020 N. Howard., Jan. 21 and 22 at 7 p.m. Needed: six women, three who appear to be in their early 20s and three who appear to be in their mid 40s and one man who appears to be in his early 20s. Auditioners should prepare a one-minute contemporary dialogue and will read cold from the script. Performance dates: March 9-31. For more information, call the theatre at (509) 325-1413.

“The Nerd” – Lake City Playhouse, 1320 E. Garden Ave., Coeur d’Alene. Jan. 22 and 23 at 6:30 p.m. Callbacks are Jan. 24. Auditioners should be prepared to read from the script with another actor. Figure/Portrait Drawing and Painting presentation of historical overview by artist Timothy Thies, Idaho state ambassador for the Portrait Society of America, Monday, 11:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church, Fifth and Wallace, Coeur d’Alene. The class meets Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. starting Jan. 20, and performance dates for the play are March 22 and 23. Classes will be held at the Harding Family Center, 411 N. 15th St., Coeur d’Alene. 2007 Playwrights’ Forum Festival – One-act plays (no longer than 60 minutes) are being accepted for the Spokane Civic Theatre’s annual festival in June.
