Hawaii arrived in Moscow on Monday night to acclimate itself for tonight’s game. The team practiced twice on Idaho’s home court Tuesday. Idaho lost to Utah State on Monday and returned to Moscow on Tuesday, but didn’t practice. … Standout forward Nick Fazekas, who missed Nevada’s last two games with a sprained ankle, is expected to play in tonight’s showdown against visiting Fresno State. The Wolf Pack went 2-0 without Fazekas. … Nevada’s No. 13 ranking (ESPN/USA Today) is the highest for a WAC school since Tulsa was No. 12 in 2000. … New Mexico State has scheduled a game at Louisville next season. Reggie Theus was an assistant under Louisville’s Rick Pitino before landing the NMSU job in 2005. … San Jose State knocked off Fresno State last week, marking the first time since 1990-91 that the Spartans have defeated the Bulldogs in football and basketball.
