Auditions

“The Cover of Life” – Spokane Civic Theatre, Sunday and Monday, 7 p.m., at the theater, 1020 N. Howard. Needed: six women, three who appear to be in their early 20s and three who appear to be in their mid-40s; and one man who appears to be in his early 20s. Auditioners should prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue and will read cold from the script. Performance dates: March 9-31. Call (509) 325-1413.

“The Nerd” – Lake City Playhouse, Monday and Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. at the theater, 1320 E. Garden Ave., Coeur d’Alene. Callbacks are Wednesday. Auditioners should be prepared to read from the script with another actor. Bring a photo of yourself the theater can keep. Call (208) 667-1323.

“Bunnicula!” – Spokane Children’s Theatre, Feb. 4, 4-7 p.m. and Feb. 5, 6-9 p.m. at St. Aloysius School, 611 E. Mission. Callbacks will be Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. Needed: two boys to appear between 8 and 10 years old; one woman and one man to appear between 16 and 40; one woman to appear between 30 and 40; and one man to appear between 35 and 45. 2007 Playwrights’ Forum Festival – One-act plays (no longer than 60 minutes) are being accepted for the Spokane Civic Theatre’s annual festival in June.
