What: Fur Trade Canoes, a free presentation on crafts used by tribes and traders during the fur trade era.

Who: By Jack Nesbit, Spokane teacher, writer and naturalist; author of “Sources of the River.” Program for Spokane Canoe & Kayak Club.

Details: Emphasis on Kootenai and Kalispell craft as well as the series of planked cedar boats of David Thompson in 1811-12.
