Manny Quezada scored 16 points to lead the Dons, who lost their second straight after a three-game winning streak.
San Francisco played without sophomore guard Antonio Kellogg, who will sit out three games to concentrate on academics.
The transfer from Connecticut leads San Francisco – and is sixth in the conference – with a 15.1 scoring average.
Saint Mary’s 85, San Diego 78: At San Diego, Diamon Simpson scored 21 points and Ian O’Leary added 18 to lead the Gaels to a win over the Toreros.
Saint Mary’s made 32 of 46 free throws, compared to 16 of 27 for San Diego.

McGuire also posted 13 rebounds and five blocks.
