Annual auction next Saturday

The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection will host its annual gala auction next Saturday at 6 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. Tickets are $20. The event is a fundraiser for the church, primarily benefiting the children’s, music and outreach ministries.

Sunday Masses will feature St. Mary’s students

St. Mary’s Catholic School is celebrating Catholic Schools Week with a variety of activities through next Saturday. Public events include the 5:30 p.m. Mass today and the Masses at 7:30, 9 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday. Students will participate in each Mass and the principal will speak. Refreshments will be served following the Masses.

The school also will be collecting soup and toilet paper during the week to be donated to community service agencies.

Family night at Zion Lutheran

Zion Lutheran Church will host a family pizza night Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend. The cost is $2 per person or $5 per family. The church is at 8304 E. Buckeye. Call 926-5407 for more information.
