NEW FACES Sheldon Lukenbill has been hired as a structural CAD designer in DCI Engineers’ Structural CAD Department. He holds an associate’s degree in computer-aided design from ITT Technical Institute.

Advanced Input Systems has hired Jan DeMeerleer as a program manager. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and previously worked as operations manager for ReliOn Inc.

Dr. Kimdung Nguyen has been hired by Internal Medicine Residency Spokane Hospitalists at Sacred Heart Medical Center in the practice of internal medicine. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Nevada.

Mariah McKay has been hired as the outreach and volunteer coordinator for KYRS Thin Air Community Radio. She is a graduate of Reed College in Portland, Ore.

Chris Lonam has been hired by Storhaug Engineering as a computer-aided design technician.

Dr. John Howard has been hired by the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office in the practice of forensic pathology. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and completed a fellowship at the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Dr. Paula Shepherd has been hired by Inland Imaging Associates in the practice of diagnostic radiology. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and completed her internship and residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center.

PROMOTIONS Deanna Blair has been promoted to personal lines account executive at Fidelity Associates. She has been with the company for 22 years.

Robert Graper has been promoted to associate at Integrus Architecture. He has been with the company since 2004 and is a structural project engineer.

KUDOS Magner Sanborn recently received a national ADDY award from the American Advertising Federation. The advertising competition drew 60,000 entries in 73 categories.

Dr. Hakan Kaya of Cancer Care Northwest was recently awarded the Outstanding Clinical Faculty Award by the Internal Medicine Residency program of Spokane. The program is affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Ken Nuehs of Storhaug Engineering was recently licensed as an on-site wastewater treatment system designer and inspector in the state of Washington. He has 14 years experience in sewer design and inspection.

Jeff Thomas, CEO of Ambassadors Group in Spokane, recently received the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the services category in the Pacific Northwest. The company provides exchange student programs.
