Give new EWU coach a chance

Get serious, folks. While everyone likes to remember their favorite coach or the time in 10th grade basketball when people cheered their one moment of fame, other than for the privileged few athletes, EWU and other collegiate programs are entertainment. EWU is and should be about academics.

The coaches are entertainers and entertainers do not get tenure. The good ol’ boy network is alive and well in the local coaching community, so why complain about the athletic director/new coach connection? A lot of people have been fired or laid off without severance pay in Spokane since the EWU coach. I say give the new guy a chance.
