People: For now, it’s bye bye, baby

The details were numbing, but Eva Longoria says she kept her cool at her French wedding to basketball star Tony Parker last weekend.
“I actually don’t stress about anything,” the 32-year-old “Desperate Housewives” actress tells OK! magazine.
As for choosing 07/07/07 as a wedding date, that had more to do with convience than numerology, Longoria says.
“It was the only day we could both do it,” she explains, adding: “Tony is probably the least superstitious man I know.”
Longoria giggled during the ceremony as she attempted to say her vows in French.
“She decided I would do the vows in English; hers would be in French,” explains Parker, who was born in Belgium and raised in France.
“There were some tough words. I’m very proud of her.”
The celebrity guest list included Sheryl Crow, Jessica Alba, Ryan Seacrest and fellow “DH” stars Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman, as well as series creator Marc Cherry – who said in his wedding speech that the couple couldn’t have children this year, because it’s not in the script.
She’s still in the picture
Miss New Jersey Amy Polumbo can keep her crown despite photos that show her behaving “not in a ladylike manner,” pageant officials decided Thursday.
They include shots of Polumbo’s boyfriend pretending to bite her breast through her shirt, and one of her in what appears to be a Halloween costume dress holding two small pumpkins up to her bosom.
Polumbo’s lawyer said someone calling themselves The Committee to Save Miss America threatened to make the pictures public unless she resigned her title.
She’s now cleared to represent New Jersey in the next Miss America pageant.

Diller “twisted the wrong way” and caused “a minor injury, some kind of a fracture which is extremely painful,” her manager said.

Music industry execs, already facing slumping CD sales, are miffed at plans by Prince to give away his new album along with copies of a tabloid sold in Britain on Sunday.
“The Artist formerly known as Prince should know that with behavior like this, he will soon be the Artist Formerly Available in Record Stores,” said Paul Quirk, co-chairman of the Entertainment Retailers Association.
