Jonny Flynn scored 18 points and had five steals to lead Team USA to an 87-82 victory over France in the FIBA U19 World Championship at Novi Sad, Serbia.

Gonzaga University sophomore Matt Bouldin played just six minutes against tourney-favorite France. He grabbed one rebound and missed his only shot from the floor.

“Former Eastern Washington University and Kentwood High standout Rodney Stuckey, now of the Detroit Pistons, signed a multi-year shoe-endorsement deal with Adidas, according to the Seattle Times. The terms of the shoe deal were not disclosed.

Golf

Gonzaga University sophomore Brandon Crick held a two-shot lead after the second round of the Nebraska Amateur in Lincoln.

Crick shot a 4-over-par 75 and leads with a 2-over 215 total. The final round is today.
