Cubs 6, Reds 0: At Cincinnati, Carlos Zambrano became the majors’ first 14-game winner this season and finished with three hits to help Chicago beat the Reds.

Phillies 5, Pirates 1: At Philadelphia, Jimmy Rollins had three hits and Kyle Kendrick tossed seven strong innings as the Phillies beat Pittsburgh. Kendrick allowed one run on six hits, walking one and striking out four.

Padres 18, Astros 11: At Houston, Mike Cameron and Adrian Gonzalez hit two-run homers during an 11-run first inning off Jason Jennings in San Diego’s rout of the Astros. Brian Giles had a two-run double and starting pitcher Tim Stauffer had a two-run single for San Diego.

Rockies 9, Dodgers 6: At Denver, Matt Holliday homered and drove in three runs, and Ubaldo Jimenez went six innings for his first major league victory in Colorado’s win over Los Angeles.

Cardinals 9, Brewers 5: At St. Louis, Ryan Ludwick’s bases-loaded walk broke an eighth-inning tie, Albert Pujols followed with a three-run double and the Cardinals rallied from a five-run deficit to beat Milwaukee.

Marlins 8, Giants 5: At San Francisco, Barry Bonds was 1 for 4 with an infield single on the final day of the Giants’ homestand, failing to come close to a home run during a loss to Florida.

Braves 14, Diamondbacks 0: At Phoenix, Chipper Jones drove in five runs, Tim Hudson allowed three hits in seven innings and Atlanta routed Arizona. Andruw Jones and Scott Thorman also homered for the Braves, who pounded out 17 hits.

Mets 5, Nationals 0 (4 1/2): At New York, David Wright drove in two runs, helping the Mets salvage a rain-shortened victory over the Nationals.
