Brass band to perform

St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral will present the Pilgrim Christian Slavic Brass Band in concert June 10 at 4 p.m. as part of its Second Sunday series.

The group of musicians from Slavic Baptist Church will perform Russian and American religious music.

The public is welcome, and donations will be accepted.

The cathedral, 127 E. 12th Ave., will be open before the concert beginning at 1 p.m. for self-guided tours and meditation.

Anniversary continues

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will wrap up its extended celebration of its 60th anniversary with a special worship service and banquet June 10.

Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy with Metropolitan Gerasimos will begin at 9 a.m. The banquet will follow the service in the upstairs hall.

Tickets for the banquet are $20 for adults and $10 for children. They must be purchased in advance by calling the church office at (509) 328-9310.

Garage sale fundraiser

The Lutheran Church of the Master in Coeur d’Alene will host a garage sale today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 4800 Ramsey Road.

The event is a fundraiser for a new roof needed on Schmidt Hall and the sanctuary.
