Jake Williamson: A time of celebration
To many of you, graduation is viewed simply as the conclusion of your primary education. It’s over. When in reality, it signifies the commencement of a new and exciting part of our lives.
This June, millions of seniors will be graduating, each one with a path unique to him or her. Some may pursue a college education, while others prefer to become working members of society. Regardless of the trail you chose to blaze, sit back and enjoy the ride. After all, graduation is a time for celebration – a celebration of the end of one irreplaceable segment of your life and the beginning of another.
Although many tears will be shed and hugs will be exchanged, remember that as one door closes, another opens. Congratulations class of 2007! Have fun and be safe.
