Valley Fire – Commissioners discussed property at 32nd Avenue and Whipple Road as a possible location for Station 9. They passed a resolution to only use the name Spokane Valley Fire Department for the district and voted to approve a contract with Local 3701. Commissioners also voted to adopt a resolution asking the city of Spokane Valley and Spokane County to plan a new road in the Ponderosa area before allowing further development. Fairfield City Council – Council members selected a sign for the new skate park. They also discussed a new “No passing” zone on Highway 27 as it passes through town. The town’s water line replacement project is complete. (Source: Town clerk Shelly Wood)

Rockford City Council – Council members voted to approve an amendment updating the comprehensive plan. They also discussed applying for a grant for a water reservoir project. (Source: Town clerk)
