Coeur d’Alene police

Rick Tibbetts reported Thursday the $2,400 theft of tools and an air compressor from his home in the 4200 block of North Abbey Road.

Kootenai County sheriff

Gary Greenfield, Coeur d’Alene, reported Thursday the $2,000 theft of an IBM laptop computer from his home in the 2900 block of East Springview Drive.

Ryan Hendry, Hayden, reported Thursday the $2,200 theft of a Pioneer stereo, four tires, hood and shifter knob from a 1997 Ford pickup parked on property at the corner of Chilco Road and Hope Valley Road near Rathdrum.

Aletha Vaught, Coeur d’Alene, reported Thursday $4,000 damage to the engine and gas tank of her 1999 Dodge Ram van parked at her home in the 2400 block of South Bonnell Road near Coeur d’Alene.
