Board to weigh higher school lunch prices
The Coeur d’Alene School Board will consider increasing next school year’s meal prices by a nickel at its meeting Monday. Charges for reduced-price meals would remain at 30 cents for breakfast and 40 cents for lunch.
The increase would bring regular-priced breakfast to $1.30 at the elementary schools, $1.55 at the high schools and middle schools and $1.75 for adults. Lunch prices would increase to $2.05 at the elementary schools, $2.30 at the middle schools and $2.55 at the high schools and $2.75 for adults.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at the Midtown Meeting Center, 1505 N. Fifth St.
