Adult center seeks donations

The Holy Family Adult Day Center, 6018 N. Astor St., is in need of any dollar-store items, craft supplies, books and magazines.

The center for the elderly also needs volunteers to read, help with arts and crafts, play games or cards with, or give manicures to the participants of the center.

Volunteers are encouraged to spend as little or as much time at the center as they can.
