Man to plead guilty in Hayden bank robbery
A Spirit Lake man has agreed to plead guilty to the June 2006 robbery of a Hayden bank.
Ricky A. Fisher, 27, allegedly entered a Bank of America on June 29, 2006, wearing a disguise and demanded cash.
He got away with $730, according to federal court documents. That same day, Fisher’s probation officer recognized him as the suspect in bank surveillance photos and turned him in.
Through the plea agreement reached this week, Fisher would admit to the crime and federal prosecutors will recommend a reduction in sentence.
He faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
His record includes convictions for possession of a controlled substance, grand theft, dispensing alcohol to a minor and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
