Two more place in S-R Oscar contest

From Staff Reports The Spokesman-Review

We have two more winners in this year’s Spokesman-Review Oscar contest.

After publishing the previous list of winners, we heard from two people whose online ballots apparently were not counted because of computer problems.

Sandy Pratt of Post Falls showed proof that she submitted a ballot with 18 correct answers, and also picked the correct tie-breaker (“The Departed” winning the most Oscars, with four). That earns her a first-place prize of $100 in movie passes.

Donald Lacky of Tacoma, a repeat winner in previous contests, showed that he had picked 17 categories correctly. He qualifies for a third-place prize of $25 in passes.

Previously announced winners were Jim Homer, first place; Laura Homer, second place; and Sharon Bierlair, third place. Those prizes also will be honored.
