STARKVILLE, Miss. – Jamont Gordon had 20 points and 10 assists to lead Mississippi State to an 101-72 victory over Bradley Saturday in the second round of the NIT at Humphrey Coliseum.

The Bulldogs (20-13) scored 50 points in the paint while outrebounding Bradley 51-32, limiting the Braves’ high-powered offense to 37 percent shooting.

The victory sets up a quarterfinal matchup between the Bulldogs and Florida State on Tuesday in Starkville.

Senior guard Will Franklin scored 15 for Bradley (22-13).

Junior forward Charles Rhodes added 17 points and six blocks for MSU. Reginald Delk had 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting, and guards Dietric Slater and Barry Stewart had 13 each.

The Braves, who lead the nation in 3-point field-goal percentage, were 9 of 30 from behind the arc.
