Here are 10 possible reasons for adorning your work station with photographs of your family.

1. You don’t want to forget what they look like.

2. They remind you to resist the urge to say what you really think at work.

3. You enjoy seeing their pictures.

4. You figure you are less likely to get canned if you have a “family man” image.

5. To instruct others in nearby cubicles about what cute kids actually look like.

6. It might discourage sexual harassers.

7. Because, gosh darn it, you love your family more than the people who don’t put up pictures love theirs.

8. Seeing little Duhkota’s jelly-smeared face reminds you just why are sitting there pretending to care about a TPS report.

9. You want co-workers to know that your job doesn’t define you.

10. Others do it.
